Below you may find the REV Rental Rules, it is very important these rules are read and understood prior to renting any of our vehicles.
The Rental Rules Terms & Conditions explain the rules set by REV Automotive ("we", "our", "us") outlining what is allowed, what is not allowed, our rental terms and conditions. By renting any of the vehicles in our fleet, you agree to the rules, terms and conditions described in this policy
1. Driver Eligibility
- Minimum Age: 25 (27+ for select models).
- License Requirements: Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 2–5 years.
- International Renters: Must present passport and International Driving Permit (IDP) if required.
- Additional Requirements: Proof of address (e.g. utility bill).
- Authorized Drivers Only: Only the driver named on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle.
- Additional Drivers: May be requested at an additional charge.
2. Deposit & Payment
- Security Deposit: €3000-€6000 refundable after safe return and inspection.
- Booking Deposit: cancellation policy applicable.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, bank transfer, crypto.
3. Insurance & Liability
- Coverage: Fully comprehensive insurance included.
- Excess: Insurance excess held from the security deposit (e.g. €3000–€6000).
- Renter Responsibility: All traffic fines, tolls, damages due to misuse are the renter’s responsibility.
4. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
- 🚫 No track use, racing, drifting, or off-roading.
- 🚭 No smoking.
- 🐾 No pets inside the vehicle.
- ⛽ Renter is responsible for correctly fueling the vehicle (Gasoline 98 octane).
- 🧼 Maintain cleanliness; damage due to improper cleaning is the renter’s liability.
- 🔑 Interior damages due to improper use are the renter’s liability.
5. Kilometer Limits & Timing
- Minimum Rental Period: 1 to 3 days (may vary for select models).
- Included Kilometer Limit: 150 km/day (may vary for select models).
- Additional Kilometer Charges: 5-10 €/km (may vary for select models).
- Late Return: 1-hour grace period; late return may incur full-day charge.
6. Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days prior: Full refund.
- 7–30 days: 50% refund.
- < 7 days: No refund.
- Early Return: No refund for unused rental days.
7. Accidents & Breakdowns
- Accident Reporting: Notify us within the hour of any incident.
- Forms: Complete and submit accident form within three hours of any incident.
- Breakdown Assistance: 24/7 support; replacement vehicle subject to availability.
8. Handover Protocol
- Inspection: Pre- and post-rental video or photo documentation required.
- Condition Report: Signed by both parties at handover and return.
- Return Location: Returning a vehicle outside of the Algarve will be subject to a €300-€500 charge.
9. Other Terms
- Vehicle Availability: Specific models subject to availability; substitutions may occur.
- Geographic Restrictions: No cross-border travel without written permission.
- Remote Monitoring: Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking for safety and anti-theft purposes.
10. Acknowledgment
By signing the rental agreement, the renter agrees to abide by all terms listed above.
